About me

Hi, I'm Teacher Ganga. I’ve been teaching for 12 years, working with students aged 13 and above, and preparing them for various English exams, including IELTS, Cambridge YLE, KET, PET, IGCSE, and more.

Teaching has always been my passion, and over the years, I've had the privilege of guiding students through their language-learning journeys. I find joy in helping students build their confidence and skills, and I’m excited to continue making a positive impact on their education.

In this role, I prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities. I prepare internal examination papers (English for all levels), invigilate and mark exam papers. I give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development. I am responsible for researching new topic areas, maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge, and devising and writing new curriculum materials; developing content and preparing syllabus for English courses, teach International Phonetic Alphabets (IPA) to adults, participate in and organising extracurricular activities, such as outings, social activities, and sporting events.

I participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole school training events and liaise with other professionals, such as learning mentors, careers advisers, educational psychologists, and education welfare officers. Employ a wide variety of instructional methods, behavioural tools, and materials that are most appropriate for meeting standard operating procedures and educational objectives that are outlined in the school curriculum.

I also teach IELTS, Cambridge YLE (Movers and Flyers), KET, PET, FCE, CAE, BEC, BULATS, IGCSE English (ESL&EFL), History, IB English, and MUET preparatory classes, conduct SPM seminars both in schools and centres, and conduct in-house corporate training, set materials, syllabus, and outlines for English conversation classes, and teach English for other language speakers from Far East, the Middle East, southeast Asians, Africans and Europeans.

I have been teaching for 12 years. I have taught students aged 13 and above. I want to teach because I have a genuine passion for education and a strong desire to make a positive impact on students' lives. Teaching provides me with the opportunity to inspire and empower young minds, helping them develop their knowledge, skills, and confidence.

I obtained B.Ed (Hons.) TESL at University Selangor.
I have obtained M.Ed TESL at Unitar International University.
I am going to start EdD at Unitar International University in the mid of September 2024.
