Hi, parents!
I am Teacher Jestyne, a dedicated educator with over five years of experience teaching students from diverse backgrounds, including Malaysia, China, South Korea, and Poland. My teaching journey has been enriched by a variety of roles, from creating engaging and tailored lesson plans as a tutor to fostering a positive learning environment as a homeroom teacher at an international school. My experience also includes working as a Lego Educator in China, where I used hands-on activities to teach STEM concepts and enhance critical thinking and creativity among young learners. I have also developed strong communication and curriculum development skills, supported by my background in content writing and editing. With a passion for teaching English, Maths, and Science to students aged 7 to 15, I prefer the flexibility of online platforms like LearningTigers, Zoom or Google Meet. I hold an Honours degree in Biological Science from the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK, which underpins my commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals.

I have been teaching for more than 5 years to students of all ages and background, from Malaysia to China and South Korea to Poland. Teaching is my passion, and I love nothing more than helping students develop their skills and achieve their academic goals. I believe that practice and reinforcement are key to mastering any subject, and I always provide plenty of opportunities for students to practice what they’ve learned. I normally teach students from the age of 7 to 15 and I prefer to teach online via Zoom or Google Meet.
