营地规则

训练营期间,所有学员均须遵守训练营规则。这些是为确保学生获得顺利和丰富的体验而量身定制的拟议规则。

1. 语言练习

  • 仅限英语政策:鼓励始终使用英语,以最大限度地提高语言沉浸感。在私人通话期间或需要用母语进行澄清的情况下可以例外。
  • 语言伙伴:将学生与语言伙伴配对,在支持性环境中练习英语。

2. 尊重和文化敏感性 

  • 文化交流:以开放的心态和尊重各种文化的态度参与文化交流活动。
  • 当地习俗和惯例:尊重马来西亚的习俗、传统和惯例。鼓励努力了解当地文化。

3. 安全与健康

  • 留在指定区域内:未经许可或监督,学生不得离开露营地。
  • 健康规范:遵守营地提供的所有健康和安全准则,包括卫生习惯以及与当地条件或法律相关的任何具体措施。

4. 参与程度

  • 积极参与:积极参与所有预定的活动、研讨会和课程。
  • 准时:准时参加所有营地活动和宵禁,以确保营地日程顺利进行。

5. 技术的使用

  • 限制屏幕时间:将电子设备(课堂上笔记本电脑除外)的使用限制在特定时间,以鼓励与同伴和环境的参与和互动。
  • 社交媒体行为:在线分享照片或体验时,负责任地使用社交媒体并尊重他人的隐私。

6. 个人责任

  • 个人物品:对个人物品负责。贵重物品应存放在酒店提供的安全地方。
  • 清洁和秩序:保持个人和公共区域的清洁。与室友和露营者合作,保持生活空间整洁。

7. 团队互动

  • 团队合作:在小组活动和项目中相互协作和支持。
  • 解决冲突:以理解和解决的心态处理冲突。如果需要,请向营地组织者寻求帮助。

Camp Rules

During the Camp, all students shall abide by the camp rules at all times. These are the proposed rules tailored to ensure a smooth and enriching experience for the students.

1. Language Practice

  • English-Only Policy: Encourage the use of English at all times to maximize language immersion. Exceptions can be made during personal calls or in situations where clarification is needed in their native language.
  • Language Buddies: Pair up students with a language buddy to practice English in a supportive setting.

2. Respect and Cultural Sensitivity

  • Cultural Exchange: Participate in cultural exchange activities with an open mind and respect for all cultures.
  • Local Customs and Practices: Show respect towards Malaysian customs, traditions, and practices. Efforts to learn about the local culture are encouraged.

3. Safety and Wellbeing

  • Stay Within Designated Areas: Students should not wander off the campsite without permission or supervision.
  • Health Protocols: Follow all health and safety guidelines provided by the camp, including hygiene practices and any specific measures related to local conditions or laws.

4. Participation and Engagement

  • Active Participation: Engage actively in all scheduled activities, workshops, and classes.
  • Punctuality: Be punctual for all camp activities and curfews to ensure the smooth running of the camp schedule.

5. Use of Technology

  • Limited Screen Time: Limit the use of electronic devices (except for laptops during lessons) to specific times to encourage engagement and interaction with peers and the environment.
  • Social Media Conduct: Use social media responsibly and respect the privacy of others when sharing photos or experiences online.

6. Personal Responsibility

  • Personal Belongings: Take responsibility for personal items. Valuables should be kept in a secure place provided by the hotel.
  • Cleanliness and Order: Maintain cleanliness in personal and communal areas. Cooperate with roommates and campmates to keep living spaces tidy.

7. Group Dynamics

  • Teamwork and Cooperation: Collaborate and support each other in group activities and projects.
  • Conflict Resolution: Approach conflicts with a mindset of understanding and resolution. Seek help from camp organizers if needed.

8. Compliance with Local Laws

  • Obey Local Laws: Abide by all Malaysian laws and regulations. This includes laws related to, but not limited to, public behaviour, drug use, and alcohol consumption.

9. Feedback and Communication

  • Open Communication: Feel free to express any concerns, suggestions, or feedback to the camp organizers in a respectful manner.
  • Emergency Contacts: Keep the emergency contact numbers of the camp organizers and ensure you know how to reach out in case of an emergency.

These rules aim to create a supportive, engaging, and safe environment for all students while fostering cultural exchange and language learning. Adjustments to these rules may be made based on the specific needs and feedback of the participants and organizers.
