("LearningTigers", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of our website, live classroom services, digital wallet, and applications.

• Adult & Parental Consent: To create an account, you must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction. Parents or legal guardians must create accounts on behalf of minor children ("Learners") and supervise their platform usage.
• Agreement to Terms: By clicking "Register", "Book Class", "Recharge Wallet", or using our services, you signify your full understanding and acceptance of these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy.

2. Platform Description & Nature of Services

LearningTigers provides an online educational technology marketplace and management platform that:

• Facilitates live group classes, Cambridge English lessons, Mandarin trial classes, 1-on-1 private tutoring, and curriculum courses.
• Connects parents and learners with vetted independent freelance teachers and educational tutors ("Teachers").
• Provides digital learning tools, lesson plan access, lesson material sharing, assignment submissions, digital wallet management, and automated class schedule notifications.
• Intermediary Role: LearningTigers operates as an intermediary platform connecting users with independent educators. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Teachers are independent service providers and not employees or agents of LearningTigers.

3. User Accounts & Child Learner Profiles

When creating an account on LearningTigers:

• Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete registration information (including name, email address, WhatsApp/phone number, and billing details).
• Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities occurring under your account. Promptly notify us at info@learningtigers.my of any unauthorized access.
• Learner Profiles: Parents/guardians may create and manage child learner profiles linked to their parent account (including name, date of birth/age, and learning preferences). Parents are strictly responsible for their child's conduct during virtual sessions.

4. Teacher & Tutor Terms

Teachers who apply, onboard, and teach on LearningTigers agree to the following standards:

• Qualifications & Verification: Teachers represent and warrant that all submitted credentials, certifications, experience, and background information are truthful and accurate.
• Professional Conduct: Teachers must maintain the highest standards of professionalism, punctuality, curriculum delivery, and adherence to child safeguarding standards during all live classes.
• Non-Solicitation: Teachers shall not solicit, divert, or conduct private off-platform tutoring transactions with students or parents introduced via LearningTigers.
• Payouts & Payment Vouchers: Teacher payouts are calculated and disbursed in accordance with agreed rates, class completions, and valid payment vouchers generated through the platform.

5. Classes, Bookings, Virtual Rooms & Trials

• Live Class Delivery: Classes are conducted via integrated virtual meeting tools (e.g. Google Meet, Zoom, Agora, or designated direct room links). Users must ensure appropriate device, audio, camera, and internet connectivity.
• Trial Lessons: Promotional or trial sessions (including Mandarin, Cambridge, and general trials) are offered under specific terms and may be limited to one per new learner.
• Classroom Decorum: All participants (learners, parents, and teachers) must maintain respectful, positive, and polite behavior in live classes. Disruptive participants may be muted or removed from a session.

6. Digital Wallet, Payments, Subscriptions & Renewals

• Payment Gateways: Payments for class bookings, subscriptions, and wallet reloads are processed through authorized payment gateways (including Billplz, eGHL, FPX online banking, and credit/debit cards).
• Digital Wallet Credits: Users may reload their LearningTigers digital wallet to pay for classes, private sessions, and course packages. Wallet balances are non-transferable and can only be used for eligible services on the platform.
• Subscriptions & Recurring Billing: Certain courses operate on auto-renewing weekly or monthly subscriptions. By enrolling in a recurring subscription, you authorize LearningTigers to automatically bill your payment method or deduct wallet credits at the start of each renewal billing cycle.
• Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel auto-renewal subscriptions at any time via your User Dashboard prior to the renewal date. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
• Discounts & Vouchers: Coupons, promotional discount codes, and vouchers are subject to specific validity periods, minimum spend requirements, and usage limits.

7. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refund Policy

• Student Cancellations: Notice for class cancellation or rescheduling must be submitted via the platform within the specified notice window (e.g., at least 24 hours prior to class start time, depending on class category). Late cancellations or unattended sessions ("no-shows") are non-refundable and forfeit class credit.
• Teacher Cancellations / Emergencies: In the event a Teacher cancels a class or fails to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, the affected class credit or fee will be credited back to your LearningTigers wallet or rescheduled at no additional charge.
• Refunds: Direct bank/card refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis (e.g., duplicated charges or platform technical failures). Approved refunds are typically credited as wallet balance or refunded via the original payment channel less applicable administrative and gateway processing fees.

8. Child Safeguarding & Code of Conduct

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities where required:

• Any form of abuse, harassment, intimidation, bullying, hate speech, or inappropriate language.
• Sharing or displaying inappropriate, adult, or offensive images, audio, or video.
• Unsolicited direct messaging, off-platform communication, or requesting personal contact details of minors without parental consent.
• Unauthorized screen recording, photographing, or publishing recordings of other students or teachers without written consent.

9. Intellectual Property

• Platform IP: All trademarks, logos, service marks, website design, software, UI/UX, database architecture, and branding are the exclusive property of Learning Tigers Sdn. Bhd.
• Course Materials: Teaching materials, worksheets, presentations, and lesson plans uploaded by LearningTigers or Teachers are provided solely for personal, non-commercial educational use by enrolled learners. Redistribution or commercial resale is strictly prohibited.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• "As-Is" Provision: The platform and services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• No Academic Guarantees: While our educators strive for excellence, LearningTigers does not guarantee specific exam results, academic grades, or individual learner performance.
• Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Learning Tigers Sdn. Bhd. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from platform downtime, internet disruptions, or third-party meeting tool outages.

11. Account Suspension, Termination & Governing Law

• Suspension/Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that breaches these Terms, violates child safeguarding rules, or engages in fraudulent activities.
• Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

• Technical & Usage Data: IP address, device type, browser specifications, login timestamps, live class connection logs, cookie identifiers, and interaction history on our platform.

3. Protection of Minors & Child Learner Data

By adding a child learner profile to your account and enrolling them in classes, you, as the parent or legal guardian, explicitly consent to the collection, processing, and use of your child's educational data as described in this policy.

4. Purpose of Data Processing

We process personal data strictly for commercial and educational purposes directly related to our services, including:

• Creating, authenticating, and administering your parent, learner, or teacher account.
• Facilitating course searches, class bookings, trial sessions, and 1-on-1 private tutoring matches.
