About me

Hi there! I can help you prepare for IGCSE, IELTS, TOEFL, TELF, General English, Grammar, Conversation, Phonics, and Business English.

I have taught IGCSE, IELTS, TOEFL, TELF, General English, Grammar, Conversation, Phonics and Business English to an array of students and businesses over the last 14 years with a proven track record in achieving results.

I'm extremely driven to get results and I understand how to tailor the needs of the students to maximize the outcome. My passion for teaching is evident in class. I love to make the environment and experience a rich and fun one. I know how to build confidence and offer plenty of encouragement. When I was young I had a passion for Art and went to college to study Art History and Art and Design. It was then that I developed a passion for writing. After leaving college, I was offered an opportunity working in Sales for the UK's first Internet Service Provider, and I quickly progressed through the ranks to lead a team as a head consultant within four years. I worked in the IT industry for the next 20 years until I decided to go back to college and retrain as a teacher at the age of 39. I used my new qualification to move to Malaysia so I could live with my father who was retired here and realize my dream of living in Sabah.

I love music and own a recording studio, art, movie and food!
