About me

Hi! I am a dedicated educator with five years of experience teaching IGCSE English (both First and Second Language), Literature in English, and History. My journey in education began in 2018 at a homeschool setting with the IGCSE syllabus, which later led me to teach at an international school, where I worked with both focused small groups and larger classes of up to 20 students. After a brief pause to complete my Master’s degree in Education, specializing in curriculum and development, I returned to tutoring individual Year 10 and 11 students. My passion for teaching is complemented by my interests in reading and exploring literature, history, philosophy, and social issues through podcasts, which continue to inspire and inform my teaching approach.

I formally began teaching in 2018 in a homeschool with the IGCSE syllabus, then moved to an international school for better career perspectives. I used to teach a smaller (focused) group transitioning from EFL to ESL, and an average of 20-student class for the humanities subjects. I later took a year's break to pursue a full-time master's course to improve my skillsets in the education field. I currently tutor individual Year 10 or 11 students as a means to fund my studies.
